The Lovie Awards, the sister to the world-famous Webby Awards, is the internet's highest honour for the European Web. Entries for this year's award show can be submitted until 2 August 2013. Enter now!

Lovie Awards LogoThe mission of the Lovie Awards is to recognise the unique and resonant nature of the European internet community – from Europe’s top web and creative networks and content publishers to cultural and political organisations and bedroom bloggers. The 2012 Annual Lovie Awards received nearly 1000 entries from over 22 European countries.

‘Lovie’, named in honour of Ada Lovelace, represents outstanding achievement in computer technology. Ada Lovelace is credited as being the first programmer and is a lasting symbol of European innovation and creative ingenuity.

Compete for a 2013 Lovie Award
Now in its third year, The Lovie Awards continues to celebrate the most resonant and pertinent stories in Europe, those inside and outside of the prevailing trends. The Lovie Awards is open to entries in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German.

Participants can submit entries in several categories:
  • Websites
  • Online Advertising
  • Internet Video
  • Mobile & Applications
  • Social

The Lovie Awards Winners and Shortlisted entries are selected by members of The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences from the best work entered during the call for entries. Evaluated against a number of criteria, the work undergoes a rigorous process to win the coveted Lovie Award.

When you win a Lovie or People’s Lovie Award, you’re invited to attend the special Winners Party, where you’ll get to rub elbows with the industry’s foremost professionals, luminaries and celebrities.
