EUROCITIES’ activities in 2012 in a visual overview

EUROCITIES has published its visual overview of its most prominent activities and achievements of 2012.

On its website, EUROCITIES states: “Over the past year, we have held 16 forum meetings, over 80 working group meetings and issued some 30 policy statements. This year also marked 20 years of our Brussels office, and has been a busy and productive year for the whole network.”

EUROCITIES is the network of major European cities. Our members are the elected local and municipal governments of major European cities. Today, it brings together the local governments of more than 140 large cities in over 30 European countries.

Through six thematic forums, a wide range of working groups, projects, activities and events, EUROCITIES offer members a platform for sharing knowledge and exchanging ideas on innovation and creativity.

It influences and works with the EU institutions to respond to common issues that affect the day-to-day lives of Europeans.
