On June 6th 2012, the City of Warsaw organised a Creative Camp on the 'European Creative Cluster Lab – Managing Networked Creativity to Boost European Competitiveness' (ECCL). The meeting, held at Soho Factory, was aimed at setting up a working group which will play an active role in the project activities.

Creative Camps, Start-up Weekends, Pilot Lab will be the future activities to be implemented in Warsaw in the context of the ECCL project. The newly set up working group will benefit from learning opportunities and will be able to strengthen partnerships and networks with other creative cluster Europe-wide. Moreover, ECCL will provide opportunities to experience innovative cooperation practices as well as practice-based innovative approaches and tools. The involved creative clusters will have a chance to get in touch with experiences, practises and interventions carried on in other European regions. Finally they will be able to promote their cluster abroad and to strengthen European partnerships and networks.

The upcoming ECCL activity to be implemented in Warsaw is a survey on support measures for creative entrepreneurs. The participants suggested that the survey should look at practices, illustrate examples and tell stories of successful cooperation. To be investigated also the cooperation between different types of organizations (companies, NGO, universities…).
