Creative Camp – partner meeting
The first period of the European Creative Cluster Lab was mainly composed of an in-depth phase of analysis in order to clear the path of the upcoming piloting period.

A first draft of a desk research (which aimed at identifying the special characteristics of the creative industries, their business environment, and the challenges that derive for creative cluster managers throughout Europe) has been presented by MFG Baden-Württemberg-Public Innovation Agency for ICT and Media. On-going qualitative surveys and benchmarking interviews with cluster managers from all over Europe feed the findings of the theoretical research with their first-hand experiences.

The current work of City of Warsaw deals with analyzing, conceptualizing and road mapping the support of creative entrepreneurship and cooperation, both regionally and globally. During the meeting, an overview of the approach and content of the regional mini-studies being done by the partner were presented. Lille Metropole presented the contents of the ongoing study on creative industries and will from now on benefit from the support of the subcontracted research institute KEA. In the coming months, KEA will analyze and compare interesting and outstanding cases of collaborations among creative clusters in Europe. Finally Puglia Region’s Industrial Research and Innovation Department presented the dissemination plan and the visual identity of ECCL.
