Show and Tell for the first 4CNW test projects

The Creative State North West held a Show-and-Tell event for the first 4CNW partnership projects on Thursday 13th December 2013 in Sligo.

The test round of 4CNW Talent was undertaken in the North West of Ireland (Counties Sligo, Donegal, Mayo, Leitrim andRoscommon) and innovative companies who received funding in the 4CNW test round include; VOYA, Ireland West Airport Knock, Woodrow Sustainable Solutions, Koko Latte and The Model.

These businesses have used, or will use, their 4CNW talent voucher to work with outstanding Creatives from the North West to complete projects that include rebranding, web design, promotional films, live music broadcasts, digital marketing, architectural and spatial design and cultural tourism development.

The event was opened by the Chair of the Creative Sligo Partnership, Sligo County Manager Hubert Kearns, who remarked on the €10billion that SME’s contribute to exchequer in Ireland, as well as noting that local authorities are mandated to support the SME sector – both by Government and by the EU. The event was chaired by Ian Brannigan, acting CEO of the Western Development Commission and a member of the Creative Sligo Partnership.

Also introduced were the newly appointed Scottish and Northern Irish Brokers; Carol Sinclair of Cultural Enterprise Office, and Barney Toal and Clare McGee of NORIBIC at the event, who were all on hand to hear the collaboration experiences from the test project participants.
