‘Collaborative Research in the Real World’ – Review of Living Laboratories

30 JULY 2013

The European Network of Living Labs has published a new research document which reports on the practice of Collaborative Research in Living Laboratories.

The research focuses on examples of Living Laboratories, provides an overview of the history of networking, and explains the benefits of Living Laboratories. It also provides policy recommendations for setting up Living Laboratories.

The review is part of the Living Laboratories Framework Project, and was undertaken by Stephen White and Robert Salter. This review includes descriptions of a number of living labs, particularly European ones, and of the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL). Information was drawn from a tour of European living labs and ENoLL, and from academic and web-based literature on the subject.
